Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Local events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an interpreter.
The procession path ended at Dodger Stadium, where the players emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube driving a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

Festivities started prior to the parade, with Dodgers fans lighting fireworks in the streets of the city center on the previous evening.
The World Series MVP, named the World Series’ Most Valuable Player, spoke directly about the victory.

In contrast, Mark Walter received a less warm reception at the celebration. Recordings from the gathering appear to show Walter taking the stage to a mix of applause and boos, with negative shouts punctuating his speech.

“I feel like it’s almost double from last year,” Freeman remarked. “These fans are crazy. It’s truly amazing to be a part of this.”
